On behalf of the Palestinian people, the State of Palestine would like to extend its deepest gratitude to all States, parliamentarians, intergovernmental and civil society organizations, religious leaders and institutions, law scholars and experts, as well as all our friends and peace-loving peoples around the world who continue to stand on the right side of history. We are grateful for your solidarity and support and for defending the Palestinian peoples’ right to freedom, self-determination, and justice.

The State of Palestine salutes your moral integrity and principled positions opposing Israel’s illegal annexation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, in any shape or form. Your vocal condemnation of this flagrant and inexcusable violation of international law and inalienable Palestinian rights is a beacon of hope. We are grateful for your unwavering commitment to upholding the spirit and letter of international law, including the absolute prohibition on annexation. Your invaluable position will undoubtedly bend the arch of history in the direction of justice and compel others to stand against Israeli crimes and colonial occupation.

After more than half a century of occupation and colonization, we must work together to end this colonial project, which uses annexation and displacement to secure its permanence. The perpetuation of Israel’s colonial occupation is not unavoidable. Collective courage, will and action can counter this oppressive agenda. That is why we urge you to be relentless and to ensure that opposition to annexation in any form or proportion is sustained.

We appeal to you to stand firmly in defence of the rules-based global order and the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights to self-determination and freedom. Maintain the pressure to ensure accountability for crimes and demand an end to the occupation. Without holding Israel, the occupying power, accountable for its illegal policies and practices, future generations in Palestine will be condemned to a reality of endless conflict and strife.

The people of Palestine consider your solidarity and continued support as a lifeline for justice in Palestine. Together, we can elevate our joint and intersectional struggle for universal human rights, social justice, and freedom. Together, we can charter a better future for all our peoples and ensure that no crime goes unpunished and that colonial aspirations and apartheid are forever banished from our world.
